Electronic Accessibility at Burnside Farms

We want everyone to enjoy our website and our farm. We’re actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of burnsidefarms.com for all visitors, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnification software, voice recognition, and keyboard navigation.

Our accessibility goal

We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as closely as possible across our website.

Need help right now?

If you have trouble using our website or need assistance with tickets, reservations, or information, we’re happy to help.

Email: ticketing@burnsidefarms.com

When you contact us, it helps if you tell us:

  • the page you were on (copy/paste the link if you can),

  • what you were trying to do (buy tickets, view dates, fill out a form, etc.),

  • what device/browser you’re using (iPhone/Safari, Android/Chrome, Windows/Chrome, etc.).

We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Tickets and third-party services

Some ticket purchases and event checkouts may be processed through a third-party provider (e.g., our ticketing platform). We select services that support accessibility, and we can provide assistance if you encounter any barriers when purchasing tickets.

If you run into problems during checkout, please email us, and we’ll help you complete your purchase.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We’re continuously working on improvements, including:

  • improving keyboard navigation and visible focus states,

  • adding and updating image descriptions (alt text),

  • improving color contrast and readability,

  • using clear headings and page structure,

  • improving form labels and error messages,

  • adding captions or transcripts for important videos where possible.

Accessibility tips

Here are a few quick tips that may help:

  • Keyboard navigation: Use Tab to move forward and Shift + Tab to move backward through links and buttons.

  • Zoom: You can zoom your browser to 200% (or more) using your browser settings.

  • Text size: Most devices allow larger text in accessibility settings.

Report an accessibility issue

We welcome feedback. If you notice something that isn’t working well for you, please let us know so we can fix it.

When reporting an issue, include:

  • the page link,

  • what you expected to happen vs. what happened,

  • screenshots (if you’re comfortable sharing),

  • your device and browser.
