Our black oil sunflower seed is grown and produced in Nokesville, VA and packed in convenient 30 lb bags. Black oil sunflower seeds are a favorite among many backyard birds because they are rich in energy, high in natural oils, and have relatively thin shells that are easier for many birds to open. Cardinals, chickadees, finches, nuthatches, titmice, woodpeckers, and other seed-loving birds are commonly drawn to sunflower seed, making it one of the most versatile choices you can put in a feeder.
