4. Packing and processing

Bulbs are cut off at the packing station. Please place flower bulbs in compost bins located close to the tables.

 

5. Wrap and count your bunch

Use the kraft paper provided in the processing tables and count your stems as you lay them out on the paper.

 

6. Take your beautiful harvest to checkout

7. Please remember to return your picking basket

8. Trim 1/4 inch off of the ends when you get home and place the flowers in cool water.

Remember to keep the flowers away from direct sunlight and heat. Tips: The cooler you keep your flowers, the longer they will last. If your flowers wilt on the way home, put them in water as soon as you get home and you’ll be surprised at how quickly they perk up.
