Summer of Sunflowers

Pick your own sunflowers!

2017 UPDATE: We are currently CLOSED. We will be opening later in July than we had hoped. Spring rains in May delayed our planting schedule so we're running a few weeks behind. We are closely monitoring the sunflowers and should be able to announce an opening date soon.

Learn how to pick Sunflowers and Gladiolus

The middle of the month of July is usually when our sunflower fields begin to bloom. We plant over 30 varieties of "cutting" sunflowers on eight acres in successive crops to ensure at least six weeks of blooming flowers.

We will also have two of the nation's only sunflower mazes! That's right, sunflower MAZES (mazes are offered as an add-on to the general admission ticket - they are $4 per person and come with a free bottle of water).

Admission to the Summer of Sunflowers is $6 per person (under 2 are free). We also offer an unlimited re-entry Sun Pass for $10. Unlimited re-entry is a great option as the sunflower fields are always changing. No two days are alike in the picking fields! Sunflower maze tickets are offered at half price for Sun Pass holders.

Admission includes access to our huge Jump Pad, bounce house, two story slide, bubble stations, chalkboard message signs for photos, cornhole games, kids clubhouse play area and shaded picnic area.

Sunflowers are $1.50 per stem. We also have a meadow of cosmos for .50 cents per stem and we plant a garden of gladiolus, which are an excellent companion flower for sunflowers in a vase.  Gladiolus are $1 per stem.
